“The property attracted a lot of enquiry as it is rare to find a coastal country home in the region that is of such high quality. The home, land and water are all exceptional and the buyers appreciated it was a gem.”

“The buyers are a family from Sydney who love the water and wanted an opportunity to run a few cattle. They have been on the lookout for the right property for quite some time and they stepped forward as soon as we listed the property,” Richard explained to LUXURY LIST WEEKEND.

Richard said the transformation of Dundundra’s homestead under the guidance and direction of renowned interior designer Andrea Killen of AK Designs was popular with the buyers.
“The purchasers loved that the house was completely renovated and the farm had excellent pastures and a crystal clear water running through it. A lot of the other properties they considered needed extensive renovations which required a long time frame and escalating building costs,” he explained.

“This part of the Sapphire Coast must be the best value in NSW I have seen,” Richard told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND.
“We are currently experiencing a high volume of enquiries but it is not necessarily translating into quick sales. Buyers are taking their time and prepared to wait for the right property and price.”

They love to take daily walks on the beaches and swim in the pristine waters. The buyers are either permanently relocating or looking for the option to holiday, Airbnb and retire later. The buyers for this part of the Sapphire Coast mainly come from Sydney, South Coast, ACT and Victoria.”
