The Coronis Group have announced the opening of four new agencies in what has been dubbed as Australia’s new ‘Golden Arc’, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
In the past quarter, the Coronis Group have proudly unveiled four new offices across the region which has been dubbed Australian property’s ‘Golden Arc’. Coronis CEO Karuna Mazzocchi said “the opening of Coronis Southport, Ascot, Mitchelton and Coolum have added to our already strong footprint in what has become Australia’s most sought after region for property.”
Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast each have median home values above $1m and are behind only Sydney in value across the country. The three neighbouring cities have had a sustained surge in property prices, with interstate and overseas migration a significant factor in the growth.
Named Australia’s Most Influential Women in Property at the most recent REA Awards, Mazzocchi has a proven record of elevating her team into successful business owners. In the past two years, she’s led Coronis’ expansion across the ‘Golden Arc’ to now be over 20 agencies and counting.
“I’m extremely proud of how each of our partnership franchises have been able to hit the ground running and quickly thrive. It comes back to having the right people and providing the right support for each agency.” said Mazzocchi.
Coronis’ strategic expansion has been driven by multiple factors, including the immense interstate and international migration. According to the ABS, in FY24 more than half (52.9%) of the Sunshine Coast population increase in FY24 was from overseas migration, the Gold Coast received Queensland’s highest rate of new residents for any area and Brisbane saw a 2.7% increase in population as it nears 3,000,000 citizens.
This increasing population has seen high demand for purchasing property, evidenced by the Gold Coast (76.6%), Sunshine Coast (68.5%) and Brisbane’s (69.3%) home value growth in the past 5 years.
Coronis has capitalised on this growth, opening partnership franchises in key areas right throughout the ‘Golden Arc’. Coronis Coolum, Mitchelton, Ascot and Southport have been the latest editions to the growth.
As the #1 agent in Ascot, one of Brisbane’s premier suburbs, Oliver Jonker’s decision to join Coronis and open Coronis Ascot showcased the success of their model almost immediately. After opening in early 2025, he registered his best ever February results after a decade in the industry.
One of the Sunshine Coast’s top agents Kerry Sullivan has also converted to team teal, opening Coronis Coolum. Already recognised recently as the #1 agent in his core suburb, Sullivan cited his switch to Coronis an exciting change. “I’ve been so impressed by the level of service and support Coronis has provided. It’s a brand that is innovative and extremely motivated, and it makes me feel invigorated and ready to elevate my services in every way for my clients,” he said.
Coronis agents Dale Kayrooz and Jackson Oram have taken the step into business ownership after honing their craft in the Coronis system. They exemplify the businesses commitment to growth, development and providing a genuine pathway to financial freedom.
“The Coronis Group is on a growth trajectory, and I’m excited for everything to come with our incredible team. Our mission is to change people’s lives for the better, and that’s exactly what each of our agencies are doing,” said Mazzocchi.
