The property had an asking price of $2.1 million to $2.3 million and sold for an undisclosed price near the top end of the range.
“The expedited online Zoom auction saw a great result, attracting 10 participants, 4 bidders, 36 bids, and $27,000 over reserve, ending in $1,000 bid increments,” Andrew told WILLIAMS MEDIA.

“This is a good family home in an affordable price range compared to neighbouring suburbs including Malvern and East Malvern,” Andrew explained to WILLIAMS MEDIA. “The home was bought by a young couple with children wanting to upsize to a bigger home a little further from the city - a typical buyer at the moment. Most other buyers were young couples currently living in apartments or townhouses in South Yarra, Richmond, South Bank, and Port Melbourne.”

“The area remains terribly short of stock and despite the Covid lockdown there are many buyers who are surprisingly unaffected,” Andrew told WILLIAMS MEDIA. “Buyers are more than happy to participate due to very transparent vision of buyers at home.”
