The recently refreshed 2-bedroom terrace was sold by Nicole Gleeson and Nicky Rowe of Kay & Burton.
This gorgeous Victorian terrace located just metres from Hawksburn Village has been sold at private auction for $1.866m by Nicole Gleeson and Nicky Rowe of Kay & Burton.
Approx. 30-40 in person one on one inspections took place during the campaign. Interest was particularly strong among couples in their 30s and parents buying for their single adult children aged in their 20s.
Nicole Gleeson told WILLIAMS MEDIA the campaign started online on 20 April, with a video online but only one or two virtual walkthroughs were done on Facetime.
“It was a great campaign with enormous inquiry,” Nicole told WILLIAMS MEDIA. “The large living room and good light were stand out features and the vendor spent time refreshing the property so there was nothing to do for the purchaser. Presentation was superb. These listings are slim pickings and even though there was a number of properties on the market in the same price range as well as close vicinity, this was a special one.”
“When a property is presented this well and all other elements like location are strong, you have the best chance of success. Kay & Burton build strong relationships with vendors so that trust is strong. Buyer relationships and trust are also paramount.”
Combining original character and modern compliments, the two-bedroom home was recently refreshed and ready to move right in.
High ceilings let natural light flood throughout the home, while beautiful newly laid oak floorboards create a modern and stylish feel throughout.
Well proportioned and open plan, the living zone features a marble kitchen as the hub of the home and an appealing living and dining space which opens out to a light filled courtyard that also offers accommodation for car parking from the rear.
The long light filled hallway takes you past two good size bedrooms, both with floor to ceiling wardrobes, maximising the use of space. There is a well designed central marble bathroom which incorporates a European laundry and storage.
The desirable and tightly held location is just steps away from Hawksburn village’s shops, cafes and restaurants, and transport.
