In a bold move to redefine real estate service in Melbourne’s booming west, experienced operators Darren Lambert and Cameron Vurovecz have unveiled Ray White West Realty, bringing three established offices under the banner of Australasia’s largest real estate group.
Ray White West Realty has just launched with offices in Cairnlea, Caroline Springs and St Albans, cementing their position as market leaders in one of the fastest growing and most diverse regions in Victoria.
With a strong property management portfolio and an experienced sales team, Darren and Cameron are set on transforming their already successful business with a focus on scale, service and community connection. For the pair who initially bonded over playing snooker, they have now chalked up a 15 year partnership right on cue.
“This rebrand marks a new chapter in our ambition to grow, evolve and serve the west like never before,” said Managing Director Cameron Vurovecz.
“Ten years ago, the idea was simple, Darren and I always wanted to grow a strong real estate agency with good values that represented our commitment to the community. But we hit a ceiling and we realised we needed the right platform and network behind us to take things to the next level.
“So now we have joined Ray White, we have the right partner, with an incredible amount of support and the best technology in the business. We are thrilled to announce that Matthew Farrugia has joined us as a director too.”
With 25 staff across sales, property management and support, Ray White West Realty is aiming to expand further, both in reach and reputation. Both principals say they will signal their arrival in the western corridor with energy and intent.
Mr Vurovecz said now was time to show what they are capable of with the right people and the right brand by our side.
Ray White West Realty is the result of that vision, backed by the power of the Ray White network and a commitment to becoming the trusted name for buyers, sellers, renters and investors across the west.
With core markets in Cairnlea, Deer Park, Derrimut, Caroline Springs and St Albans, the business boasts a 42.5 per cent market share in Cairnlea and is closing in on the No.1 position in Caroline Springs.
“We’re covering an incredibly multicultural and fast-growing population – the greater west is approaching 3 million people,” Mr Vurovecz said.
“The opportunity is enormous, and we want to be the first call for anyone thinking of real estate in this corridor.”
Darren Lambert, who leads the sales and auction side of the business, brings a deep knowledge of the west, having lived and worked in the area for 15 years. Together, the pair – who famously met playing snooker – offer a complementary leadership style and a team culture built on trust, integrity and performance.
“Partnerships in real estate can be tricky, but we just get on with it. We have different mindsets and different strengths, and that’s what makes it work,” Mr Lambert said.
Ray White Victoria & Tasmania CEO Domenic Belfiore welcomed the duo to the network.
“Cameron and Darren bring experience, ambition and strong community roots – the perfect combination to lead in the west. We’re proud to have them join Ray White and excited to support their journey.”
