The stage is set for the 2025 Australasian Auctioneering Championships (AUSTROS), with the official order of draw now revealed. This premier Trans-Tasman showdown will see the region’s top auctioneers converge in Adelaide to contest one of the most coveted titles in real estate.

This year’s competition is hosted by the Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) and is expected to deliver high-calibre performances, showcasing the exceptional skill and speed required in the auction arena.

Leanne Pilkington, President of the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA), highlighted the importance of the event: “AUSTROS is the pinnacle event for auctioneers across Australia and New Zealand. The precision, presence and adaptability required to succeed on this stage are developed over years of experience”.

REISA CEO, Andrea Heading, said “We are absolutely thrilled to be hosting the 2025 Australasian Auctioneering Championships. This prestigious event not only celebrates the craft of auctioneering at its highest level, but also brings together the very best talent from across Australia. Each state and territory in Australia, alongside New Zealand, runs a rigorous selection process to nominate two elite competitors to represent them at the championships.
