The New Mayfield will occupy a large, central site and is intended to regenerate Adelaide's CBD.
The New Mayfield will occupy 7,000sqm of the best-known land in the heart of Adelaide's CBD. A large, landscaped public square will be surrounded by cafes, bars and shops, only a short stroll from Chinatown, Central Market, and Rundle Mall. The contemporary apartments will have views over the city, and to the natural environment beyond. The site will have three towers, each 10-14 stories, and with its own visual identity. The project will be completed in two stages. In stage one, New Mayfield House will be built with one, two and three-bedroom apartments on offer, appealing to a range of residents. Every apartment will have its own balcony. Granary House, which includes only 74 residences, will be built in stage two. Sturt Land, the developer of New Mayfield, was specifically formed to deliver this project. Woods Bagot is the architect and designer, Oxigen is the landscape architect.
