REIWA and the National Association of Realtors have signed an agreement to create closer ties between the two organisations.
Ties within the real estate industry between Australia and their US counterparts, have become much tighter thanks to a new agreement recently signed in San Francisco.
REIWA president Damian Collins and Chief Executive Officer REIWA Neville Pozzi had recently signed an historic collaboration agreement with US president of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) John Smaby.
"REIWA is delighted to have signed an historic collaboration agreement with the National Association of Realtors (NAR)," said Mr Pozzi.
"US President NAR John Smaby and REIWA President Damian Collins signed the agreement whilst attending the NAR conference in San Francisco.
Mr Collins said the agreement provided significant opportunities to share information and to coordinate and promote products, services and educational courses offered by respective Cooperating Associations.
Initiating and hosting trade missions and networking opportunities was also a significant additional benefit, according to Mr Collins.

"US President John Smaby, REIWA CEO Neville Pozzi and I discussed closer ties between our Institutes.
"The NAR has 1.4 million members and is a very strong organisation."
