Former Brisbane Broncos coach Wayne Bennett's much-publicised move to South Sydney has resulted in his near-new riverside home being put up for sale.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are not the only ones set to benefit from NRL coach Wayne Bennett's move to Sydney.
Bennett and his fiancee Dale Cage are selling their near-new riverside home in Brisbane as the couple have now firmly moved to Sydney.
The former Broncos coach has enlisted Ray White Sherwood agent Tim Davis, who actually sold the couple their Yeronga home in 2016, to sell their home this time around again.
The pair are looking for interest from $2 million.
The three-storey four-bedroom home at 356 Brisbane Corso, Yeronga was built in 2016 by the experienced local builders Grayhaus, recognised for high-end quality finishes.
Ms Cage said the couple looked all over Brisbane when we were looking to buy "from Ascot and Hamilton and we both fell in love with this house together".
“It’s a warm, inviting and modern home and it’s made for entertaining,” she said.
“It’s a wonderful street we live in, there’s good company all around. It’s a great house too that is very low maintenance.
“As soon as we walked in we knew it was right for us, and it would suit a big family as it’s got a heated pool and four big bedrooms, two of which are ensuited.”

Ray White Sherwood agent Tim Davis said the three-story modern home was only completed a few months before the pair bought it from the builder.
“It’s got an expansive, open plan lounge and dining area with soaring ceilings, striking timber flooring, bi-fold doors and banks of windows to draw in cooling breezes and natural light,” he said
The gourmet kitchen includes contrasting stone and timber finishes, integrated appliances, dual fridge spaces, dual dishwashers, hot/cold filtered water tap, a butler’s pantry and servery window.
“There is also a resort-style alfresco entertaining area extending off the central living space featuring a stylish outdoor kitchen, built-in BBQ and sparkling heated pool.
Mr Davis said Dale and Wayne "fell in love" with the house when they first saw it.
"It’s a stunning big riverside home with large bedrooms plus an office that is bigger than most standard bedrooms if a fifth bedroom was required,” he said.
“There are two lounge rooms and a full media room, two of the bedrooms are ensuited, and 3.5 bathrooms and three car spaces.
“It’s very low maintenance with astroturf around the pool and entertaining area, and yes Wayne’s famous BBQ is included.”
