"There’s a lot of renewed faith in the Gold Coast after the GFC and real estate is a safe and solid investment compared with the volatility of shares and low returns of bank deposits."
Ray White Surfers Paradise Group is hosting a Landlord Symposium on the Gold Coast on Saturday.
The free event will explore key issues such as tax deductions, depreciation, interest rates and property management. RWSP Group CEO Andrew Bell said there have been major changes surrounding landlord tenancy regulation, particularly around pool fences and smoke detectors, and the symposium will inform clients about these changes.
"Property values and rents are rising on the Gold Coast so it’s beneficial for investors to hold onto their properties to capitalise on their investment," said Bell. "There’s a lot of renewed faith in the Gold Coast after the GFC and real estate is a safe and solid investment compared with the volatility of shares and low returns of bank deposits."
The Landlord Symposium will be held at the Gold Coast Turf Club at Bundall from 10am to 1pm. Register for the event at: rwspevents.com.au
