The auction will include dozens of items of movie memorabilia, and is being held tomorrow night, on both the actor's birthday and the couple's wedding anniversary.
The "highly personal" collection was assembled by Crowe and Spencer over many years, according to the Sotheby's website.
Various items used in Crowe movies will be auctioned, including armour, weapons, and chariots used in the filming of Gladiator.
The collection includes paintings by some of Australia’s most significant artists, furniture, musical instruments, watches, and sporting memorabilia.
The auction will be held at the Elston Room, Carriageworks, 6pm, 7 April 2018.
