Sotheby's has released its 'Significant Sales' list, which reveals its top sales globally.
Sotheby's is synonymous with the finest property in the world. So, what does the best of the best look like?

The WT Waggoner Ranch
Though the sale price was undisclosed, Sotheby's sale of WT Waggoner Ranch was the largest in its history. The 535,000-acre, North Texas property had the same owner for 165 years. The ranch contains two compounds, many homes, and the ranch headquarters.

Twin Points
The two-acre oceanfront estate on the coast of Southern California has two headlands that jut out into the sea, hence its name: Twin Points. The property includes a Polynesian-themed home, a guest house, a pool, and terraces. Magnificent gardens, sprawling green lawns, a white sandy beach... The property sold for $60 million.

The Manhattan penthouse
This five-bedroom penthouse at 101 Central Park West has been renovated by Shelton, Mindel & Associates. With wonderful views of the midtown skyline, a wood-burning fireplace, and located directly on Central Park, the property sold for $47 million.

Los Pastores
This 12-bedroom Plantation-style home is located in the exclusive Lyford Cay community in the Bahamas. Covering three acres, the home has wide verandahs, a bar, a swimming pool, and of course, the spectacular beach. The property sold for $47 million.

The Main House, Oliver's Cove
Oliver's Cove has 245 metres of beachfront, covers six acres, and contains 12 homes. Sotheby's sold the Main House, which as four bedrooms and an infinity-edge pool set into the sand, sold for $30 million. (See main image.)
