McGrath Estate Agents will take another historic 24 Millers Point homes to market for the NSW government, with proceeds going towards building new social housing.
NSW Property has appointed McGrath to sell another 24 historic Millers Point properties.
McGrath has already sold 91 Millers Point properties, worth a total $282 million, according to McGrath Head of Company Sales, Kon Stathopoulos.
The sale of the historic homes, which were formerly social housing, will fund the construction of much-needed new public housing.
Stathopoulos said buyers of the Millers Point properties are already seeing strong returns on their investment. "The first property to be sold in August 2014 was 119 Kent Street for $1.911 million and has since resold for $2.52 million in June 2015."
McGrath to date has achieved a 100% clearance rate for the Millers Point properties.
Lorraine Crawford, Peter Starr and Andrew Stewart of McGrath Edgecliff have begun marketing an initial four terrace houses. The properties will go to auction on 30 November.

- 15 Lower Fort Street, Millers Point, $4.5 million - $4.7 million
- 36 Argyle Place, Millers Point, $3 million - $3.3 million
- 66 Bettington Street, Millers Point, $2 million - $2.2 million
- 61 Kent Street, Millers Point, $1.8 million - $1.98 million
