Queensland real estate business Coronis has taken staff motivation to an Oprah-like level, inspired by the talk show host's continued generosity towards her audience, by giving away three new cars to their sales team.
The firm's three month ‘Rev Up' competition was introduced to challenge the sales team to list and sell more properties through a fun, unique way that delivered big rewards. Due to the size of the Coronis sales team, they created three categories within the competition.
“By putting the BMW, Mazda and Fiat in front of the team, it gave them something tangible to strive towards instead of a sum of money,” said Sales Director Craig Gillies. “Sales Agents are naturally competitive, so it just provided them with the extra motivation to work that little bit harder during the final quarter of 2015. “While we know most of the agents already have nice cars, you hear nice stories of them going all out to win the car for their daughter who’s learning to drive or their wife who needs a new car. It’s reasons like that, being able to help families, which makes this all worth it," said Gillies.
Sunnybank Sales Specialist Terry Zheng took home the BMW, Forest Lake Sales Specialist Tee Kay won the Fiat while North Lakes Sales Specialist Chris Rhode won the Mazda. The runners up in each category also won travel vouchers ranging from $5,000 to $10,000.
