Take a look at the luxurious Melbourne penthouse decorated by a high fashion illustrator who has worked for the likes of Chanel and Vanity Fair.
With an $8 million price tag, whoever purchases this Melbourne penthouse won't need to do their own furniture shopping. The Array East Penthouse comes ready-made with everything including Fendi couches, Versace ottomans and accessories and even a Roberto Cavalli leather and snakeskin-look coffee table, all curated by renowned fashion illustrator Megan Hess who has worked with fashion houses Prada, Dior and Chanel.
Mirvac has just revealed the East Penthouse to mark the completion of Array, a 39-level apartment tower on the banks of the Yarra River in Melbourne. Array is the developer's seventh Yarra's Edge tower. The 425 square metre penthouse comes with interior furnishings selected by Hess, who was briefed to create an elegant, contemporary and chic penthouse with international appeal. In 2008, Hess illustrated the book 'Sex And The City' written by Candace Bushnell. She has since illustrated portraits for Vanity Fair and Time and illustrated the windows of high-end department store Bergdorf Goodman in New York. She has designed a specific marble dining table with a gold leaf base for the Array penthouse. Other furnishings are provided by Jonathan Adler and Coco Republic.
John Carfi, Mirvac's residential Group Executive, said Array had been designed to offer "a heightened level of luxury" in response to purchaser demand for customised apartments. Array features dual multi-level East and West penthouses, which come with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, butler’s kitchen, a private lift and a double height living and entertaining area leading onto a terrace which overlooks the Yarra River and Melbourne’s city skyline. More than 90 per cent of the $219 million development has sold, and residents will move in soon.
