Please stop making SA even less attractive of being a great place to live work and play by placing even further imposts on property.
Dear South Australian Premier and Treasurer,
People from all walks of life own property. People from all walks of life live in rented properties. People from all walks of life buy goods and services from entities that own or work out of leased or owned properties.
Please stop taxing property. Please stop making SA even less attractive of being a great place to live work and play by placing even further imposts on property.
Please stop taxing property to the point that every drop of dirt becomes too expensive to live work and play on.
I have heard you say so many times that it is the big end of town that pays the property taxes- but you never acknowledge who actually pays the price for high property taxes. It's everyone- not just the rich but also the poor through higher rents and higher costs of goods they buy from entities paying the property taxes.
To own any property in this state, whether it be the mums and dads planning for their retirement or entities trying to employ and make a living, property can not sustain the heavy lifting any more.
Regards
Greg Troughton on behalf of Property
