Heathridge is Perth's fastest selling suburb, according to new REIWA data.
Heathridge, Leederville and Shenton Park are the fastest selling suburbs in Perth, according to the REIWA's latest data.
REIWA President, Hayden Groves, says that although Perth buyers are still in a good position to take their time finding the right home, a number of suburbs are experiencing faster than average turnover.
"The average selling days for the overall Perth market for the year to February 2016 is 62 days," said Groves. "However, when we drill down to the suburb level we see numerous pockets across the metropolitan area where it takes much less time to sell and where buyers need to act quickly to secure their purchase."
"If you are looking to sell your home in one of these areas, provided your property is priced correctly, it is very likely to be snapped up quickly by motivated buyers."
Half of the suburbs on the list have an overall median price (across houses and apartments) below $500,000 - traditionally the cut-off level for first-home owners.
"First home buyers remain active in the Perth property market with current market conditions continuing to entice this demographic to take their first step into home ownership," said Groves.
